Hazards of Oil Dispersants
Honestly, I find this sickening. What, you ask? Fighting fire with fire in the Deepwater Horizon spill. After carelessness and human error caused the largest oil spill of all time, BP's highly educated scientists, knowingly intoxicated the already tarnished fragile ecosystem of marshland and wetland. In my opinion, the oil spill is still a worse crime; however the spill is much more allowable, because it was certainly unintentional. The chemical dispersants may have done their job, but we should not get rid of the oil at all costs. BP may have unleashed these toxins for monetary reasons; enough cleaning crews could take the job of the dispersants without the terrible side effects.
